Business networks LBRN sees numbers swell

A local networking group, the Local Business Referral Networking group (LBRN), is seeing numbers swell at its twice monthly breakfast meetings as it makes its way through the second quarter of 2009.

Keith Oddy, LBRG network leader, commented that he was not at all surprised at the interest shown in the business group. “The LBRN has been operating in the Tenbury Wells area since November 2007, and more recently meeting at The Talbot Inn at Newnham Bridge which has proved a popular venue for our members due to its excellent location and superb buffet style breakfast, offering ease of access for members from across the area.”

Creating business opportunities and helping other local businessmen and businesswomen connect is the group’s core focus with members looking to create new contacts and ‘keeping business local’ being their firm motto.

Said Keith: “Wealth creation and helping accelerate growth within our local economy and seeing it recover is paramount to ensure we continue to enjoy a vibrant, healthy and thriving local economy for both local business and the community as a whole. The focus and joy is helping local businesses become better connected. In turn this has helped us all weather recent storms and be better placed to beat recession. The fun and sense of local community at our meetings continues to be invaluable.”

As greater focus is placed on local services in our unending search for reliable business services, the LBRN is fast becoming the business forum to be connected with.

Said Keith: “The local economy benefits from variety of quality businesses. LBRN encompasses members from meat producers, to solicitors, furnishers, farmers, a well-known plant nursery, retail, investment, IT, PR and health and nutrition to mention just a few.”

For more information about the LBRN, how to join and how you can benefit from making contact with local businesses within you area, please contact Keith Oddy on 01584 781720.
