CSL - Converged Solutions Limited employee, Daniel Dainty, is making the most of his accreditation as one of only a handful of people from across the UK to have passed the demanding Brocade Certified Fabric Professional (BCFP) 4 Gbit/sec Program.
With today’s data centres already pushed to the limit, managing the unprecedented growth in digital data and application deployment, many enterprise data centres are now beginning to undergo clear structural change. Dan, having successfully demonstrated his personal infrastructure skills and knowledge, is playing a vital roll within CSL’s ongoing training and updating of technical staff to deliver the provision of creative, effective and efficient infrastructure solutions within a rapidly evolving IT environment.
“The pace of change continues to increase with many data centres experiencing change at an incredible rate.” Said Dan: “Industry needs to keep up to date and at the same time they need to address the changing characteristics of the rest of their business. Attaining my BCFP certification is fantastic as it allows me to continue supporting CSL’s numerous interesting and diverse communication arenas and business partners.”
A channel partner for Hitachi Data Systems, CSL is a privately owned convergence solutions specialist, providing network platforms to support data networks, IT, telecommunications, security and storage area networks (SAN). As a BCFP professional, Dan is an accomplished administrator of fibre channel concepts, switching, fabric OS, SAN hardware components and initial configuration, he is also an expert in management interfacing, security and access control as well as a knowledgeable trouble shooter.
