Festive Royal Forest treasure hunt

The PTA of Far Forest School in association with The Royal Forester will be holding a festive family treasure hunt on Sunday 27th December, starting at The Royal Forester, taking in some of the most stunning scenery the Wyre Forest has to offer.

Warm clothing, mountain bikes and the entrance fee of £2.50 per entrant is all that’s required said PTA Chair, Mrs Penny Child: “The school is absolutely delighted to be taking part the first ever festive treasure hunt. Sean McGahern at The Royal Forester has kindly agreed to sponsor the event, with all proceeds raised on the day being donated to the school.”

Registration is at 10:15 at The Royal Forester, with the hunt starting at 10:30am, setting off into the forest to follow a set trail of clues, returning approximately two hours later for a complementary festive fayre for everyone to enjoy.

Said Sean: “With 4 children myself, I understand how hard it can be to keep them entertained at Christmas. I'm happy to support Far Forest School PTA to offer this festive family event."

A fun family event, the minimum family team requirement is of one adult to one child (14 years or under) has no upper age limit, just lots of fun in store for all the family, with each family teams able to win a whole host of prizes as they progress throughout the hunt.

For further information or to register, please contact the school on 01299 266316 or Sean at The Royal Forester on 01299 266286.
