FreiLacke choose Oakland International for their UK base

FreiLacke UK Limited, a producer of high-quality coating products, has chosen Oakland International as their strategic partner for storage and distribution following FreiLacke’s recent restructuring, with the multi temperature supply chain specialist in warehousing and logistics also chosen as FreiLacke’s new UK base.

Oakland, originally contracted by FreiLacke in March 2006 to distribute the firm’s premium coating products throughout the UK, currently handles approximately 30 tonnes of FreiLacke product per annum.

Technical Sales Representative for FreiLacke UK Limited, Lee Hathaway, stated: “FreiLacke has been working with Oakland International for over five-years, initially contracted to be our storage and logistics partner.

“Moving to Oakland International’s Midlands depot for our permanent base made perfect sense as it allows for a closer working relationship, streamlining of internal business information and it also makes logistical sense.”

Oakland International will continue to take full responsibility for warehousing and distribution of all FreiLacke products, with FreiLacke also having their own personnel on site. FreiLacke have also budgeted to increase annual growth by 10%.

FreiLacke products include powder coatings, liquid paints, paint additives and thinners.
