Oakland International strengthens Board with director appointment

Multi-temperature supply chain specialist Oakland International Limited, with depots in both the UK and Ireland, has announced the appointment of David Hoey, Director of Human Resources and Purchasing for Oakland International.

David, following two years with Oakland, initially in a consultancy capacity before his appointment as Business Improvements and Projects Manager, will focus on developing and delivering the company’s People Plan to ensure Oakland can continue to achieve the growth forecasted over the next 5 years, along with accountability for Oakland's Corporate Responsibility strategy, site facilities management and purchasing processes.

Oakland International’s MD, Dean Attwell, commented: “I am delighted to welcome David to the Oakland Board and I look forward to working closely with him on our forward growth strategy and on Oakland’s People Plan; to develop our team to its maximum potential, cultivating future leaders from within.”
