Pink ladies raise £100 for Breast Cancer Campaign

The ladies at Speller Metcalfe’s Malvern offices decided to ‘wear it pink’ in a bid to raise money for the Breast Cancer Campaign and raised an amazing £100 for the charity.

Liz McKinnon, Speller Metcalfe’s Human Resources and Training Manager, stated: “Everyone in our office is always happy to help raise money for charity, so when I suggested we dress up in pink they all jumped at the chance.

“It’s a sad fact but we all know of someone who has either been directly or indirectly affected by this dreadful disease which affects men as well as women, and if we can raise money to help fund their vital research, then we’re happy to wear pink, red or any colour of the rainbow.”

Breast Cancer Campaign supports universities, medical schools/teaching hospitals and research institutes in the UK and Ireland, with their mission being to beat breast cancer through funding innovative world-class research, helping the medical profession understand how breast cancer develops, which will then lead to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and subsequent cure.
