Fitness and confidence and sportsmanship; amateur boxing focuses on good sportsmanship. Boxers learn how to be good losers, and more importantly, how to be good winners. In an average boxing gym, less than 1% of the athletes become professional boxers, but all of them will become contributing members of society. Tenbury Amateur Boxing Club believe that in a properly run gym, all boxers will learn life skills and a sense of self-worth which comes from personal achievement.
