Bill White Nurseries to host nutritional talks

Bill White Nurseries at Lem Hill, Far Forest, will be holding a series of nursery based talks over the coming months, with the first this July, a free talk on health and nutrition delivered by Hazel Cumming and Penny Handford of Total Nutrition on Thursday 23^rd July from 11:30am to 1pm.

Doing things a little differently down Bill’s growing tunnels, Bill White Nurseries is introducing the talks to broaden the nursery’s appeal to a wider audience, with health and nutrition kicking off the sessions and discussing how herbs can offer so much more than just taste.

Said Flowerpot Bill: “We’re all really excited about Hazel’s nutritional talk and learning new ways of using herbs in our diets, so much so that the staff have already reserved their seats!”

As an added bonus, everyone attending the free talk will receive a 10% discount on all purchases made at the event. “We think the talk will appeal to a wide audience as not only will they be able to sample good healthy food and get health tips, but they’ll also be able to ask our staff about any aspect of growing and caring for herbs and plants at home.”

During the session, Hazel and Penny will look at a number of herbs, explaining their health benefits, discussing recipes and passing out a number of sumptuous samples for everyone to enjoy whilst explaining the essential 7 steps to good health.
