Harvest Festival supports Age UK |

Students at Kidderminster’s Holy Trinity International School (HTIS) invited representatives from Age UK in Stourbridge to help them celebrate their annual Harvest Festival.
Donating an array of food products, HTIS Head, Mrs Pamela Leek-Wright stated: “The school has been supporting Age Concern, now known as Age UK, in Stourbridge for many years and we are always more than happy to assist in any way we can.
“The service they provide is vital to many elderly people in the community and it is essential that they continue to do so. A much loved organisation which is also feeling the effects of our current economic climate, as are so many other charitable organisations across our region.”
Children from across all areas of the Nursery, Preparatory and Senior Schools and Sixth Form brought in a collection of canned goods, tea, pasta, vegetables, biscuits and cakes to their Harvest Festival celebrations, singing songs and gathering together with parents and Age UK representatives Derek Elton and Ron Dalton, both directors of the Stourbridge charity, over a cup of tea and homemade cakes.
