Said Paul: “I really enjoy playing for Kidderminster Harriers and Worcestershire County and I am so pleased to have been awarded ‘Player of the Season’. It is a great honour to both captain your County and receive such a prestigious award.”
Paul will graduate after taking his A2 examinations in the school’s upper sixth in June and is currently taking A2 examinations in Spanish, Sports Science, History, Citizenship and General Studies, and has completed AS Psychology and GCSE French last year. He has also completed courses in Sports Leadership both with the Harriers and at Holy Trinity International School.

Paul first captained the U16 County Squad before moving on to take up the captaincy of the U18s. He has been able to maintain the required training for the Youth Team, playing County matches and sustaining a full A2 academic programme whilst studying at HTIS, as the school offers flexible timetabling for sports students to support both academic studies and training schedules.
Said Mrs Leek-Wright: “We are delighted for Paul and we wish him much success in his sporting career as well as in his academic studies. We hope that our other Harrier Youth Team students have equal personal success in the future.
