Commenting on his attendance, Dean Attwell said: “The West Midlands is at the economic heart of Britain and therefore it is essential that regional businesses make their voices heard. I am delighted to be speaking at the event and have the opportunity to discuss and debate topics such as the skills gap, the UK’s economic policy, transport and the impact of business on our environment.”
Gary Woodman, Chamber of Commerce Herefordshire and Worcestershire, stated that this is a fantastic opportunity for the business community of the region to hear from the Conservative Party on their policies and make a case for changes to key government policies that will remove the barriers to business growth in the region and most importantly in the two counties.
Dean will join other panel members including Mark Prisk MP, (Shadow Minister for Enterprise, Deregulation and Competition), Mick Laverty (Chief Executive, Advantage West Midlands), Pat Jackson (Director, Regional Skills Partnership), and Martin Dyer (Site Development Manager, NEC Group).
Each speaker will discuss a specific policy issue they feel impacts on the prosperity and growth of businesses including skills, transport, environmental, regulation and economic policy. There will also be an opportunity for questions and debate after each panel member has spoken.
