NETsposure meets the challenge

Evopr client and MD, Simon Collingridge,  of Bewdley based NETsposure, a web promotion and search engine marketing specialist, is always happy to help when it comes to supporting local charities and fundraisers, donating his time and expertise to many local events in and around the Wyre Forest.

Little did Simon know that this generosity would see him providing local farmer, Mark Blakeway, with IT support from the inside of Mark’s tractor.

Said Simon: “As a local company we regularly support community initiatives and fundraising events. Donating a domain name and unlimited email addresses to a school auction seemed simple enough, that was until Mark called me and asked for some additional help with settings on his newly acquired email accounts.”

Mark, a Kidderminster farmer, took Simon’s offer to provide “any help and support needed” literally, requesting a personal visit to his Kidderminster farm. “It was an eye opening experience,” said Simon: “Mark said he was very busy so when I arrived I was told I could find Mark in one of the farm buildings.”

After the recent rain, it was all hands on board. So without further ado, Simon got himself comfortable and went through a few email basics.

Said Mark: “Simon rose to the challenge. I was just about to load a lorry with corn when he arrived, so I couldn’t stop for long. He got himself into the cab and went through everything I needed to know before heading off into my office to complete the rest.

“Thirty minutes and a short tractor ride later, we were all done. I’m grateful to Simon as not many people would have been happy to meet me on my tractor, but he did. Brilliant, and the email is working fine.”
