Oakland International finalists in Irish Logistics and Transport Awards

Oakland International, a multi temperature supply chain specialist in warehousing and logistics, has been selected as finalists in three award categories in the prestigious Irish Logistics and Transport Awards, to be held at the prominent Burlington Hotel in Dublin on Thursday, 10th February.

Shortlisted for the Supply Chain Integration Award, Logistic Best Practice Award and the Freight Forwarding Award, Oakland International’s joint MD, Mark Caffrey stated: “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted in not one, but three award categories. It is fantastic news for our Ireland team and positive testament of all their hard work.”

The firm continues to attract interest from Ireland, the UK and Europe, with producers and suppliers seeking to capitalise on Oakland’s extensive retail distribution operations and extended supply chain services, with unrivalled lead times and delivering significant cost advantages for producers wishing to deal with Irish and UK retailers direct.

Following excellent response and entries from the highest echelons of Ireland's logistic and transport sector, Oakland’s short-listing is viewed as a great achievement for the young Irish team. With over 400 attendees and hosted by former Prime Time presenter Mark Little, the evening promises to be spectacular.
