School scholarship bonanza

Holy Trinity International School are inviting applications for Y5 pupil scholarships for entry this coming September.

The school’s Head Mrs Pam Leek-Wright said: “We are delighted to be able to offer these scholarships for entry in to our Year 5 class this coming September.

“With a strong tradition of supporting pupils and their families through our community scholarship programmes, Holy Trinity International School enjoys welcoming families from both the local and wider communities, and we hope that by offering further scholarships that we can support even more families with their educational studies.”

Throughout the prep, senior and sixth form, a total of 24 scholarships will be issued to reward existing students and enrol students of a high calibre to the school. Scholarships will be awarded for academic excellence, creative arts and sports. Once a student has been awarded a scholarship, they will be entitled to receive continued provision for as long as they remain at Holy Trinity, providing they maintain appropriate standards.

During the morning boys and girls will sit mathematics and English papers, with students wishing to be considered for creative arts or a sports scholarship, needing to bring in their portfolios of works before taking a general assessment in both mathematics and English.

Being held on Saturday 21st May from 9:30 to 11am, children from local and surrounding schools are invited to apply, with scholarship programmes available upon request. All scholarship applications need to be submitted to Holy Trinity International School by Wednesday 18th May.

Mrs Leek-Wright adding further: “This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and students who may have previously thought that an independent education was not a viable option.”

For parents who are interested in the school but feel a scholarship is not an option, Holy Trinity also offer bursaries, on a means tested basis. Prospective families are warmly invited to attend one of the school’s many weekly open Friday’s following the Easter break, and prior to May’s scholarship entry deadline.
