World Book Day enjoyed by pupils

Pupils at Kidderminster’s Holy Trinity International School dressed up as their favourite book character in celebration of World Book Day on Thursday 1st March.

Throughout the day the children took part in a wide variety of workshops and activities, including a Grand Costume Parade around the school.

Head of Holy Trinity International School Prep, Mr Jon Brunt, said: “World Book Day offers the opportunity to explore and celebrate many kinds of literature and participate in a range of activity workshops. Parading around the school is always popular with the younger pupils as it provides them with the opportunity to show off their costumes, with staff also joiningin the parade, it’s always a great deal of fun.”

Pupils also took part in language activities, story-time as well as creating a range of artwork to celebrate the day.
