Children at Little Trinity Nursery enjoyed learning about the significance of Eid, sharing stories about different traditions, and embracing the warmth and togetherness the celebration represents.

To reflect themes of growth, renewal and giving, the children took part in creative activities including crafting colourful decorations, exploring traditional patterns, and learning how Eid is a time of gratitude, generosity, and celebrating with loved ones.

Nursery Manager Gaynor Carter said: “Celebrations such as Eid provide a wonderful opportunity for children to explore the world around them, learn about diverse cultures, and appreciate the diversity that makes our communities so special.

“Through creative play and shared experiences, the children not only develop important skills such as fine motor coordination and communication, but also gain a deeper understanding of kindness, inclusion and respect for others. It’s a joy to see them embracing the spirit of Eid and learning from one another.”
