Little Trinity Nursery Gives Leavers a Magical Send-Off Before Starting School

Children from Little Trinity Nursery's Red Ladybird class enjoyed a memorable send-off as families and staff came together for an afternoon of fun, laughter and magical entertainment.

The special leavers' celebration gave children the opportunity to mark the end of their nursery journey before taking their next big step into primary school this coming September.

Nursery Manager Gaynor Carter said: "We love celebrating this important milestone and making it a fun and memorable occasion for our children before they leave us to start school. It also gives families and staff the chance to say goodbye, reflect on their time at nursery, and share some special memories together."

The festivities began with outdoor water games and slides in the sunshine before the highlight of the afternoon, a visit from popular entertainer Magic Russ. His interactive show, featuring favourites Chico the Monkey, Puddles the Platypus, and newcomer Dougie the Dog, had children and families laughing, joining in, and enjoying plenty of magical surprises.

The celebrations continued with an outdoor party, complete with cakes and treats, creating the perfect atmosphere for children to spend time with friends and family before saying their goodbyes.

Gaynor added: "There was so much joy throughout the afternoon. Seeing the children laughing, smiling and celebrating together made it a truly special occasion for everyone involved."

To round off the event, each child received a balloon keepsake, while families relaxed and chatted over refreshments as they celebrated the children's achievements and prepared for the exciting journey ahead.

Magic Russ commented: “It’s always such a privilege to be asked back to Little Trinity Nursery. Seeing the children laughing, joining in, and celebrating with their families before they begin their next adventure at school is incredibly rewarding. I wish every one of the Little Trinity leavers the very best as they start this exciting new chapter.”

The event provided a fitting farewell for the nursery leavers, sending them on to primary school with happy memories, growing confidence and excitement for the adventures to come.
