Studley Cricket Club Secure Business Sponsorship

Studley Cricket Club has secured sponsorship for the upcoming season from family business and multi-temperature supply chain specialist Oakland International, further strengthening the company’s commitment to supporting local communities and employee wellbeing.

Located at Washford Fields, Studley Cricket Club is a valued community hub bringing together people of all ages and abilities from across Studley and the wider Warwickshire area. With a thriving junior section, three senior teams, and participation in ECB All Stars and Dynamos programmes, the club provides opportunities for young people and adults alike to enjoy cricket in an inclusive, family-friendly environment.

Oakland International’s sponsorship reflects the company’s wider focus on community engagement and the wellbeing of its employees, many of whom live locally and benefit from accessible, grassroots initiatives that support physical activity, teamwork, and connection.

The partnership will support the club’s ongoing development, helping to maintain facilities, grow participation, and continue offering opportunities for local residents both on and off the field. Beyond cricket, Studley Cricket Club also serves as a social hub, hosting community events, gatherings, and celebrations throughout the year.

Explaining the significance of securing this sponsorship, Studley Cricket Club member and player Stuart Harris added: "We’re delighted to have Oakland International’s support for the coming season. Their backing helps us continue to grow as a club, invest in our facilities, and provide opportunities for people of all ages to get involved in cricket and community life.”

Through partnerships such as this, Oakland International continues to reinforce its role not just as an employer, but as an active contributor to the communities in which it operates.

An Oakland International Innovations Officer Luke Attwell commented: "As a business rooted in the communities we serve, supporting organisations like Studley Cricket Club is incredibly important to us. Clubs like this play a vital role in bringing people together, supporting young talent, and promoting wellbeing, values that align closely with our own, and with the support we aim to provide for our colleagues and their families.”

A Certified B Corporation, Oakland International is a specialist in multi-temperature supply chain solutions, providing a full suite of services from storage and distribution to contract packing, consolidation and direct to consumer delivery across the UK and Ireland, and is recognised for tackling food waste through its award-winning distress load management service.
